Ashley & Pat High School Sweethearts Together Forever.

I have known these two for quite some time. We attended the same high school. Pat was best friends with my cousin Keith while Ashley and her twin sister Amber were on my softball team. These two got together in high school, they were always together. A perfect match. I love high school sweethearts, though I may be biased because Matthew is my high school sweetheart.

I shot Amber’s wedding back in 2009. It was my 1st official wedding. I was so excited when Ashley emailed me telling me she was engaged to Pat and wanted me to shoot her wedding. I of course accepted.:)

March 3rd 2012 was their wedding day. It was a little blustery but still beautiful. We had a blast with this crew!

Pat texted Ashley ” I cant wait to see you”. How sweet is that?!?

This girl is gorgeous isnt she!!

BRIDESMAIDS!!

Tug of war!!!

Matthew and I thought it would be funny if the groom pretended to pee in the river. Never did we expect to see the whole groomsmen party lined up in their boxers laughing and ready to shoot. They are truly a fun bunch. I was laughing so hard while taking this.

Great shot by Matthew

First Dance <3

Shot snagged by Matthew. Dont you love how the light picks up her hair there, just beautiful

Matthew caught this emotional moment. It is so beautiful. Look how in love they are!!! Love my job.

Pat’s older brother AJ and his fiance Krista are getting married in July. I cannot wait to shoot their wedding!!

Ashlee & CeeJ {A Winter Engagement}

Ashlee is a good friend of mine, we became closer friends after we worked together at sears. I can remember the first time I met CeeJ as well. Ashlee introduced him to me at our District Convention. He was very shy but they looked oh so cute together! I remember teasing Ashlee saying “When you two get married. Im so doing your engagement and wedding photos.” Fast forward almost 2 years and I get a text from Ashlee. It is a photo of her hand with a gorgeous ring on it… Her and CeeJ were engaged!!!!! I instantly started planning. We met up in January to do our engagement session, we had to wait for a snowy day becuase our winter was crazy this year. I was also 7 months pregnant at the time. We set out to Pittsburgh and utilized the cathedral of learning, the library and Schenley Park.

Matthew has come a long way in his photography journey. He is such a natural talent, Im so proud of him. I absolutely love having him come with me to work. Look at these 2 gorgeous natural photos of these too. They are so meant to be.

They were a joy to photograph.

When we were in the Library Matthew thought of this Idea because Ashlee & CeeJ love reading. CeeJ actually cut out a square in a book and put Ashlee’s ring box in there when he was proposing!!

This is Matthew’s shot. I love it. So cute and funny.

We got up to the Schenley Circle just in time as the sun was setting. Just gorgeous.

Another Sunset shot.

The last image of the day, snatched by matthew!

Congrats you two! We cant wait for the wedding!!

Amanda & Zach are Engaged ~ Pittsburgh Engagement Photography

Amanda & I are friends from High School we both participated in the High School Musical among other things. She is such a sweet smart girl and I was so excited when she contacted me to do her engagement photos and also her upcoming wedding in May. These two were so natural together and in front of the camera. The are so much in love. Zach is such a gentleman, very chivalrous. He pulled put her chair at the coffee shop and everything!!:)

We started our day at Allegheny commons park, and traveled to a local coffee shop, as well as Pitt University Campus where the two of them met. It was a brisk day but we had a lot of fun!

Shot by Matthew

I knew I needed to capture the shot on the right for them. Since they met at Pitt, I thought it was only fitting to get them kissing with the Cathedral of Learning in the background.  To do so I got down and laid on the ground in the snow. I had some trouble getting my pregnant self up but the shot makes it all worth it!!

I loved that they brought their Kindles and read a little while we warmed up at the coffee shop. Her ring is stunning and so unique.

Once Upon A Time <3

I am beyond excited for Matthew & I to Shoot their wedding, May 27th 2012. They are to be married at Phipps Conservatory. I cannot wait to see all the gorgeous details Amanda has described to me come together!!

See you in May!!

{Jamie & Tyler} Say “I Do”

I absolutely could not wait to post this wedding. Jamie & I were friends in elementary school and are actually distantly related down the line a ways. Her grandfather, John & my Great Grandma Anna were brother & sister.:)We lost contact after she moved and we didn’t have school together anymore but thanks to that amazing invention called Facebook we reconnected last year and got to talking. Long story short she asked me to shoot her wedding and I happily accepted.

Jamie & Tyler’s wedding was December 30, 2011. We were so fortunate to have a wonderful day & great weather. The pair celebrated their big day at the Mayernik Center in the Avonworth Community Park. Jamie was so stunning on her big day! She looked so elegant and was a natural in front of the camera. I had my hubby Matthew & my good friend Soozie with me as my 2nd shooters. We had such a great time!

Jamie’s dress was so elegant. I love when brides opt to be unique in their attire. The awesome shoe shot on the right compliments of Soozie.

Marilyn Monroe Pose

Stunner by Soozie

Great Shot by Soozie of Tyler’s Cuff links. Jamie bought them for him as a wedding gift.

Jamie & Tyler opted for the First Look before their ceremony. I wish more couples would opt for this because its much more intimate and relaxed! plus it allows us more time for photos.;)

Matthew captured this gem. I’m so glad to share the passion of photography with him, it’s wonderful getting to work with him.

Sassy bridesmaids!

I loved these shots Soozie snapped of the girls, while I was tending to the groomsmen.

Charlotte is the cutest little flower girl. She is Jamie’s niece. Love her smile!

Handsome Gentlemen

Love Jamie’s expression as she sees Tyler waiting for her.

Head Table

Their 1st dance was emotional, you could feel the love. I always love the vibe of a first dance.

This gorgeous sexy shot was snapped by Matthew.

Jamie dancing with her father, left, and her brother, Chris on the right.

Christine Olson Photography would like to thank Jamie Tyler & their families for allowing us to share in and capture their big day! We wish you many wonderful happy years together!
